Muse Magazine is an Italian magazine based in Milan, Italy, and is a creative publication whose realm is the fashion industry. The magazine deals with fashion, art, beauty, design, photography, cinema, music, and visual culture. This is an editorial product with an Italian look but is given an international style by being written in both Italian and English. I had an opportunity to work on two issues of Muse as the graphic designer. Muse is designed for an audience constantly in search of beauty, which is based on common high-profile taste and a strong inclination towards anything that is “new.” As a designer, I was able to refine my editorial design through a minimalist approach to the placement of images and great attention to the artistic use of typefaces. This refinement and elegance in the layout definitely give the product its identity.
