Table Nineteen is a premium casual restaurant in Whistler, BC located at the Nicklaus North Golf Course.

The restaurant underwent a full renovation and rebranding effort in 2019, and prior to opening the management required an illustration package to complement the new brand and to roll out across various pieces of collateral in the business.

The character of the illustration needed to speak to a distinctly thoughtful F&B offering that conveyed the restaurant’s principles of selected and ethically sourced products and fresh, in-house, hand-crafted creation. The illustration also needed to feel jovial and inviting, appealing to a wide range of potential customers and moving away from the perceived exclusivity of a golf-centric establishment.

Drawing inspiration from the menu’s ingredients, I used measured brush strokes and intentional fluidity for the illustrations to create a family of illustrations that playfully convey the key themes of fresh, in-house, and hand-crafted. The illustrations were incorporated within the restaurant’s menu, coasters, napkins, stickers, packaging, and loyalty cards.
