Project Details.

1515 Dexter is a Class A office building in the Westlake neighbourhood of Seattle that features boutique character and cutting-edge design.

The pre-existing, dated office building was fully redeveloped and modernized into a sophisticated, turn-key office property catering to Seattle’s progressive technology and professional office market.

Staying true to the spirit of the project, I was tasked with creating a very contemporary feeling brand that balanced the project’s fresh personality with the building’s original architecture. My solution was to work with a very modern logotype and sculpt it to respond to the horizontals and 45-degree angles in the building’s façade, reflecting these elements in the logo’s numbers and the lettering.

The result is an elegant logo that communicates the contemporary character of the project while still giving a nod to the building’s 1970s Brutalist exterior forms. I also developed the interior signage and all marketing collateral to complete the new brand identity.
